Zucchini Got His Favorite Toy Mended

Our mom mended Zucchini's favorite toy -- the kick-a-roo.  He had ripped multiple holes in it from his rough-housing, so she washed and mended it for him.  Now it's as good as new!

Snow!

We got to check out the snow on the deck this week.  It was cold!!  I was braver than Zucchini and tromped through the snow drifts, but then I came in shivering.  My mom was quick to warm me back up though! ^_^

Zucchini got to go out first...  he didn't really know what to think of the snow.  I think it was his first exposure.

New Home-made Cat Toy

My mom made me a new cat toy.  It's a plastic bottle with a couple holes cut in it, then filled with cat treats and catnip.  The more I bat it around the more likely a treat will fall out for me to eat!  I love it.

Zucchini woke up from his nap and saw that I had a cool new toy.  He wanted in on the action and stole my new toy from me...

Balance of Power Shifts Again

In my mom's feeble attempts to balance the power between Zucchini and I, she eventually brought out the kennel again to use for Zucchini giving me free range of the apartment without supervision!  I was a bit skeptical of this at first, but it's working out okay.  He and I take turns being in charge of the home now.  This has helped to cut down on flying fur.  Which makes me very happy.
